The Designer: Lolita Lempicka

An exciting and passionate designer, Lolita Lempicka is a French icon, fashion stylist and fragrance designer. It is out of admiration for Vladimir Nabokov's novel "Lolita" and the painter Tamara de Lempicka that she chooses this pseudonym.

Admiring the work of her seamstress mother, she dresses her dolls herself from the age of six. Inspired by fairy tales, she creates a world filled with princesses in sumptuous dresses. Having become a teenager, she makes her own clothes, drawing inspiration from major fashion magazines.

Talented, romantic and refined woman, she created her brand Lolita Lempicka in 1983 and set up her own collection of perfumes with the help of her husband and later of her 3 daughters. In 1997, the designer unveiled her most daring project: Mon Premier Parfum. A true ode to femininity, the perfume met with immediate success and became a world bestseller.
